December favourites

Sunday, 27 December 2015

I feel as if I'm the only person who doesn't get overly excited about December, probably because I don't celebrate the festivities that come with it- nevertheless I managed to rack up a couple favourites this month.

Nars creamy concealer:
The name says it all, a super creamy and easy to blend concealer that works amazingly well at covering dark circles and redness.

Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge:
I bought this off Amazon a few weeks ago and haven't stopped using it soon, it's a really useful tool to have- I find the pointed side is great at blending more hard-to-reach areas.

Clinique clarifying lotion:
When I first started using this I hated it as it'd sting my skin and leave it soooo irritated but I decided to use it more frequently and it's started growing on me. It gently exfoliates and smooths your skin so it's ideal to use before moisturiser.

New Balance 373:
I've been needing a pair of trainers I could wear everyday as it's too cold to wear my very loved Vans, so on Black Friday I found these on Surfdome for £50, used an extra 10% code and got them for £45! They're extremely versatile and super comfy, I've worn them lots already.

What are your December favourites?

Can someone give feedback on this photo? I've taken it with my iPhone and I'm unsure of the quality

  2. Oh my god I love New balances! I got a new pair for Christmas and they're so comfy although I already knew they were comfy because I got a pair ages ago too. Pretty sure they are my favourite trainers. I really need a new concealer and was considering this one but it's a bit out of my price range at the moment (well it's not technically but I'm trying to save up for a new laptop) (incase you were wondering whats happening in my life financially aha)x

    1. So do I, they're so so so comfy- these are my first pair so i was overwhelmed, I've gotten so much wear out of them already and I've only had them for a month! This concealer is GREAT but if it's too expensive then I recommend the Collection lasting perfection or the Seventeen stay time.

  19. I love love love your New Balances with a passion! They are so easy to style! I’m currently saving up for the Nars creamy concealer since I’ve been asking for it for about a year now! I recently got the Beauty Blender and I do see the hype, there is a slight difference with the real techniques one. But not too much!

    1. Why thank you, I love them too! The original beauty blender is around £12 which is way too much for me, I really like the RT one though :) You must try the nars concealer, the collection lasting perfection/ seventeen stay time concealer are pretty good dupes I think
